Nestled along the Old James Path, Suites Nature Ecocamp San Román is a haven where nature and comfort coexist. I had the privilege of executing a comprehensive photography project aimed at positioning the ecocamp as the preferred choice for pilgrims, couples, and families seeking an authentic experience.
The project began with a detailed meeting with the client to understand their needs and objectives. During the pre-production phase, I conducted an in-depth competitor analysis on platforms like Booking, Instagram, and various websites, identifying visual strengths and opportunities. Based on these insights, I created moodboards and visual examples to define the project’s aesthetic direction. Additionally, I designed a mock-up for a website, showcasing how the photographs and videos could seamlessly enhance their digital presence.
The production, which took place from midday until 10:45 pm, encompassed a diverse and detailed photography session:
– Interior photography of the bungalows and reception, highlighting their warmth and functionality.
– Product still life shots, incorporating locally inspired baskets styled with care.
– Aerial drone photography and immersive 360° footage to capture the natural connection of the space.
Every shot was meticulously planned to convey the ecocamp’s balance of sustainability, comfort, and natural beauty.
In the post-production phase, I utilised advanced tools such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro to refine over 100 photographs and videos, tailoring them for specific formats on Booking, Instagram, and the web. Attention to detail ensured that each image encapsulated the spirit of the location while meeting professional standards of quality.
This project not only delivered visually striking content but also established a cohesive and professional visual identity that sets Suites Nature Ecocamp San Román apart in a competitive market. It exemplifies how a strategic and creative approach can elevate the perception of a space, inviting future guests to experience its unique charm.
