This session captures the essence of the 1990s, drawing inspiration from the aesthetic of iconic editorial shoots, such as those seen in Thrasher Magazine. Our aim is to immortalize the fearless attitude and vibrant energy of that decade through fashion and style.
The 1990s were a time of rebellion, hip-hop, and punk rock that left an indelible mark on culture. To recreate this spirit, we have chosen skateboarding models, incorporating skateboarding into the editorial. Skateboard tricks inject a dose of action and excitement into the session. Skateboarding not only challenged conventions but also offered a unique perspective that influenced both the fashion and music of that era.
The urban setting, with painted walls and concrete structures on the outskirts of Valencia, evokes the authentic street style of the 1990s. The models sport bold and daring garments that epitomize the aesthetics of that era. Oversized hooded sweatshirts, baggy pants, and wide-cut jackets pay homage to the skateboarding and hip-hop fashion that defined the time.
Under the title “90s Rewind,” this editorial serves as a tribute to the style, fashion, and attitude of the 1990s. This session transports us back in time and revives the bold and daring choices in the fashion world of that era.
