Miguel Sánchez Mosquera

Miguel Sánchez Mosquera, born on June 2, 1996, is a photographer originating from the Galician coast, particularly from A Coruña. His early exposure to photography, guided by his father, ignited a passion that led him to skillfully capture various facets of Galicia’s natural landscapes in an authentic and unembellished manner. These experiences have served as a profound wellspring of inspiration for his diverse creative endeavors.
Influenced notably by the Californian collective f/64 and the iconic Ansel Adams, Miguel has endeavored from the outset to portray genuine aspects of the natural environment, with an aim to not only showcase its beauty but also express his environmental concerns.
Commencing his photographic journey in A Coruña, Miguel later expanded his horizons, relocating to Valencia to pursue his career. There, he pursued a bachelor’s degree in photography and video at LABA Valencia School of Art, Design & New Media, under the mentorship of esteemed photographers such as Vincent Urbani and Eduardo Peris. Additionally, he benefited from the guidance of prominent exhibition curators like Eduardo García Nieto, skilled retouchers such as Sergio Martinez Madrigal, and accomplished producers like Roland Parrot. Ana Gea, who serves as Executive Director at PalauGea and Founder-Editor at Gràffica-Mússica-Öbjetto, provided Miguel with a curriculum focused on the professional world, including budget preparation and presenting joint projects as briefs for clients.
Currently, Miguel completed his internship as a Junior Photo Editor at the renowned company Singularu in Valencia, Spain. At the same time, he is in the process of completing his Final Degree Project (TFG) to conclude the final year of his bachelor’s degree studies.
