Miguel Sánchez Mosquera
Photographer & third year student at LABA Valencia School of Art Design & New Media
Miguel Sánchez Mosquera, born on June 2, 1996, is a photographer hailing from the Galician coasts, specifically from A Coruña. His passion for photography ignited at an early age under the guidance of his father, and since then, he has skillfully captured various aspects of Galicia’s nature in a genuine and unadorned manner. These experiences have served as a rich source of inspiration for his diverse projects.
Influenced by the Californian collective f/64 and, above all, Ansel Adams, Miguel has strived from the outset to portray authentic aspects of the surrounding nature, aiming to showcase the beauty of these landscapes and his concern for the environment.
His journey as a photographer began in A Coruña, but later, he ventured beyond his hometown to pursue his career in Valencia. There, he studied a bachelor degree in photography and video at LABA Valencia School of Art, Design & New Media, under the tutelage of esteemed photographers such as Vincent Urbani and Eduardo Peris, as well as receiving guidance from prominent exhibition curators like Eduardo García Nieto, skilled retouchers like Sergio Martinez Madrigal and brilliant productors like Roland Parrot.
